June 3rd 2026 (Chicago, IL) — The FDA has issued a safety recall alert on Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitors (CGM). The defective sensors were stolen by a third-party vendor and sold to consumers.
More than 121,000 Orb Funkee squeeze toys were recalled due to possible asbestos contamination. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the sand inside two toy models may contain fibrous tremolite asbestos, a dangerous carcinogen linked to mesothelioma, lung cancer, and other serious respiratory illnesses.

Nexgrill Industries, Inc. of Chino, California has issued a voluntary recall of about 10.2 million wire grill brushes. The wire bristles can detach from the grill brushes and stick to food or the grill, posing an ingestion hazard. People who swallow the grill brush bristles may face serious internal injuries that require surgery.
