Lake in the Hills, IL (January 22, 2025) – Shortly after midnight on Thursday, January 22, emergency crews responded to a T-bone-style crash between two vehicles at the intersection of Randall Road and Miller Road.

According to reports from the Algonquin–Lake in the Hills Fire District, at least one person was injured in the collision. Due to the nature of the crash and the reported injuries, Battalion 1 requested a second ambulance to assist at the scene. The injured parties were evaluated and treated by emergency medical personnel. The extent of the injuries has not been publicly confirmed.
Authorities responded to secure the intersection and assist first responders while the scene was cleared. The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
