One of the greatest legacies that a person can leave is to be great at their chosen profession and help the community which they live.

Howard Ankin has tried to do both of those during his time at Ankin Law as a personal injury lawyer. He’s been helping clients for 28 years in Chicagoland while also lending his help to various charities in the area.
Those efforts were a reason that Howard had a great day on April 22, 2025 at the Union League Club of Chicago.
That’s when he was given a 2025 Vanguard Award from the Chicago Bar Association as the honoree of the Decalogue Society of Lawyers. The honor is given to a lawyer who’s made the legal profession more accessible to those in their community.
Since 1997, Howard has led Ankin Law from a small personal injury firm to now a practice with over 90 employees.
“It’s a cherished award that I will keep and hold to my heart going forward,” said Howard of being honored with the Vanguard Award.
