The need for Chicagoans to be safer on the crosswalks and roads in early November was a key part of Attorney Howard Ankin’s latest television appearance.

The founder of Ankin Law was a guest on WGN-TV’s “Spotlight Chicago” on November 5 discussing safety tips as Daylight Saving Time has arrived in the area.
Howard was interviewed by hosts Sarah Jindra and Amy Rutledge about a recent study from the firm that showed an increased risk for commuters after the earlier loss of light after November 1.
According to the Ankin Law report, pedestrian injuries in crashes doubled the first two weeks after Daylight Saving Time compared to the two weeks before form 2018-2025.
Howard discussed the findings of the report along with general tips for commuters on how to navigate this tricky time in the calendar.
Ankin Law has been able to help those pedestrians and motorists who’ve been injured in incidents that have occurred after the clocks go back. Howard himself has been doing so at the firm since it began in 1997, helping thousands of Chicagoans who’ve been hurt.
