Ankin Law Provides Help to Those in Need in A Chicago Cold Snap

While Chicagoans are used to the cold, the temperatures this weekend made it dangerous to be outside.

Ankin Law realized this and provided help to those who need it the most in our community.

Led by Attorney Howard Ankin, we donated to the efforts of Pastor Kenyatta Smith and Another Chance Church on January 23 as they provided emergency assistance to Chicagoans.

We provided winter hats and scarves to the church, which were then distributed with food and other goods to those in need in the cold. The initiative was announced at a news conference at Another Chance Church at 9550 South Harvard Avenue in Chicago and was covered by WGN-TV.

This is one of a few charitable efforts that Ankin Law and Pastor Smith have teamed up on through the years, including Operation Cover Chicago in December.

You can watch WGN-TV’s coverage of our efforts during the cold snap in Chicago in the video.
