Ankin Law Was There for Claude when His Employer Wasn’t

If there is a case study as to why someone injured at work needs a Personal Injury lawyer by their side, it’s Claude.

He was injured when he fell through a six-foot hole while at work, but the support he hoped to get from his employer wasn’t there.

“The next day, I’m on crutches in a brace – a knee brace, a wrist brace, and my operations manager comes out and he’s like, ‘He has to be doing something, or he could just go home,’” said Claude. “I’m like, ‘What? I just fell through a six-foot hole.”

It was then that he knew he needed help for his injuries, and thanks to a co-worker’s suggestion, he called Ankin Law. His case then went to Attorneys Raquel Gross and Scott Goldstein, who worked with him on the Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury sides of his case.

The battle to get Claude what he deserved took a few years, but in the end, he received the proper medical care for his injuries along with a six-figure settlement. Such results aren’t unusual at Ankin Law since we are the largest filer of Workers’ Compensation in the State of Illinois.

“Everybody’s on your side,” said Claude. “And you need somebody on your side like that.”
