Motorcycle Accidents in Illinois
Motorcycle accidents often result in severe or fatal injuries due to the lack of protection for riders. In Illinois, busy roads and intersections create constant risks for motorcyclists. Crashes involving larger vehicles like pickup trucks or SUVs can be especially deadly because of the difference in size and weight.
Victims of motorcycle accidents, or families who lose loved ones, may have the right to pursue compensation through a wrongful death claim. An experienced wrongful death attorney can help investigate the cause of the crash and fight for justice on behalf of victims and families.
Compensation available through these claims may include:
- Medical expenses – Coverage for hospital care, emergency transport, and any treatment provided before death.
- Funeral and burial costs – Assistance for families facing unexpected financial strain after a tragic loss.
- Lost wages and future income – Support for dependents who relied on the victim’s earnings.
- Pain and suffering – Recognition of the physical and emotional trauma caused by a devastating crash.
- Loss of companionship – Support for families grieving the absence of a loved one in their daily lives.
