Bus and Truck Accidents in Illinois

Accidents involving buses and semi-trucks in Illinois highlight the serious risks that come with commercial vehicle accidents. These collisions often cause devastating injuries due to the size and weight of the vehicles involved. When a semi collides with passenger cars or a bus, the impact can leave victims facing long recoveries, costly medical bills, and emotional stress.

In Illinois, bus accidents raise additional concerns because they often involve public transportation. While this crash fortunately did not include passengers on the Pace bus, many cases do. Victims of bus or truck crashes may face injuries ranging from whiplash to broken bones or even catastrophic harm. Recovery can require surgeries, rehabilitation, and time away from work.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a crash like this, you may be entitled to compensation. Victims may seek damages for:

  • Medical expenses, including future care
  • Lost wages and reduced earning ability
  • Pain, suffering, and emotional distress

Working with a skilled truck accident attorney ensures that you understand your legal options and protect your rights. Insurance companies often attempt to minimize payouts, but an attorney can fight to recover the compensation you need for your recovery.
