Warren, IL (July 30, 2024) – Officers say that three people were injured in a crash that took place in Jo Daviess County on Saturday evening, July 27.
Officials say they were called to East Stagecoach Trail and North Canyon Park Road near Warren, Illinois, for reports of a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, authorities found a driver had stopped at the intersection and then continued north but did not see an approaching motorcycle.
The driver of the car collided with the two people on the motorcycle. The cyclist and their passenger were flown to a local hospital for their injuries. The driver of the car was cited with Failure to Yield at the stop sign at an intersection. The accident remains under investigation, though no citations have been issued at this time. However, officers with the Warren Police Department are handling the inquiry into the collision and asked any witnesses to come forward.
