August 28th, 2025 (Chicago, IL) – Unichem Pharmaceuticals has issued a nationwide recall of one lot of Cyclobenzaprine due to a dangerous labeling error that could put the wrong medication into consumers’ hands.

What Is Unichem Doing About The Cyclobenzaprine Recall?
Unichem is voluntarily recalling the medication, and notifying its trading partners, retailers, and consumers through their third party recall provider, Inmar. The return process of all affected mislabeled Cyclobenzaprine 90ct bottles is being handled by Inmar. Additionally, Unichem is asking that retailers do not dispense medication from bottles with the aforementioned lot number, and they should notify any consumers who have received medications from one of these bottles.
What Should Consumers Do?
If you have any medications dispensed from these recalled bottles, it is important that you stop taking it immediately. Take the bottle and pills to the pharmacy you got them from and trade them in for your proper medication. Do not throw these pills away. While not necessarily illegal, it is unsafe to dispose of pills in the trash or flush them down the toilet.
