Skokie, IL (January 4, 2025) – According to officers with the Skokie Police Department, a car crashed into public works machine Saturday in Skokie, leaving at least one person with injuries.

The crash happened near the 4300 block of Golf Road, police said. Officials confirmed a public works crew was working on a possible broken water main when a car entered the job site and struck their machine. One worker was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, officers added. In the meantime, anyone with information is asked to call the Skokie PD, though the incident remains under investigation.
