Mount Prospect, IL (June 23, 2026) – One person died after a motorcycle crash that involved an SUV Saturday night, June 20, on Rand Road in Mount Prospect.

According to Mount Prospect Police, the collision occurred at approximately 10:01 p.m. along Rand Road, also known as Route 12, near Henry Street. A police officer came upon the crash and found 20-year-old Scotty J. Stuck of Des Plaines with serious injuries southeast of the intersection.
Stuck was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that he passed away from multiple blunt-force injuries and ruled the death an accident.
Preliminary findings indicate that Stuck was riding a motorcycle southeast on Rand Road as he approached Henry Street when the motorcycle and a Subaru SUV collided. The SUV was driven by a 33-year-old Mount Prospect man who was not injured.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
