Meet the Ankin Law & WGN Teacher of the Month for October 2025!

For the second time during this academic year, Ankin Law was back on the road to salute an outstanding educator making a difference in the classroom.

This time, Attorney Howard Ankin and Channel 9 were at one of the Chicago Public Schools meet a literacy teacher who has found the right way to make a great impact on her students. 

That’s what Ankin Law and WGN-TV were proud to honor Ms. Jillian Nolke of Skinner North Classical Schoolwith the October 2025 Teacher of the Month Award. 

Attorney Howard Ankin was on hand to present the award to Ms. Nolke with her entire class behind her in support. She’s been a teacher for 13 years, stressing kindness to her students along with giving them confidence to be themselves as they continue through school.

This is the second time that’s we’ve given out the Teacher of the Month Award during the 2025-2026 academic year. In September, we presented the award to Ms. Isadora Parrini of York High School in Elmhurst.
