Since the Fall, Ankin Law has been honoring some of the best educators in the Chicagoland area for their achievements in helping their students grow.

As the spring turns to summer, we had one more special “Teacher of the Month” to salute with WGN-TV.
Mr. Phillip Crews, the band director at Rich Township High School, is the ninth and final educator to receive the award from Ankin Law during the academic calendar year.
This comes as he concludes his career in education, as 2024-2025 is his 22nd and last year in the profession.
Social Media Manager Larry Hawley was on hand to present a check to Mr. Crews with members of the Rich Township band, who cheered on their retiring instructor as was presented the award.
The $1,000 will go to the school to be used as they see fit.
Ankin Law was proud to once again to join Channel 9 to award nine teachers with the honor over the past nine months. Attorney Howard Ankin along with others at the firm traveled around Chicagoland to honor these teachers, with WGN’s Lauren Jiggetts preparing a feature on each educator.
