Lisle, IL (July 24, 2025) – A vehicle rammed into a house after a fiery crash on Thursday, Lisle officials said. At least one person was injured.

The crash happened on Thursday on Route 53 near the Lisle Bible Church, per local officers. Police said two vehicles crashed, sending at least one of them off the road. Fire officials confirmed that a driver came off the road and crashed into the back of a home.
Lisle police said one of the vehicles was on fire when officers arrived. One person was taken to an area hospital, officials said. Area news footage showed a black vehicle lodged into a house, and a white van was also seen down the road with damage to the front. The bumper appeared to be ripped off and on the road.
Officers also stated citations or charges may be pending, though an investigation is still ongoing. Witnesses were asked to come forward right away.
