Insurance Says No? Ankin Law Got a Court to Say Yes for An Injured Worker

The question of why a worker hurt on the job should get a lawyer can be answered by a looking at the case of a recent client at Ankin Law.

It’s a classic case of an insurance company denying a need for someone, then a lawyer stepping up to change that decision.

This is what happened when Attorney Sarah Kirchner was representing someone whose knee was hurt while at work. Based on evaluations, it was determined this person needed surgery, but the insurance company thought otherwise and denied the claim.

That’s when Sarah went to court to change that, appealing to the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission for a reversal of that decision.

Joining with Attorney Scott Goldstein in this matter, she was able to get this worker the knee surgery that’s needed to get him back to health.

Victories like this aren’t uncommon for Ankin Law, since we’re proud to be the largest filer of Workers’ Compensation claims in the State of Illinois.
