Highland, IL (July 8, 2025) – Illinois State Police (ISP) troopers said that one person has died after a two-vehicle crash in Highland.

The victim’s name has not been released, but police say that the crash occurred at about 12:40 p.m. on July 6 on Veterans Honor Parkway at Michael Road, according to a news release from Highland Police Chief Carole Widman. It’s unclear if anybody else was hurt.
Though Highland Police and the ISP have not released any other details about the crash, an inquiry is still ongoing. Anyone who has information about the crash is asked to to contact the Highland Police Department.
