Compensation

Compensation at Ankin Law is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, job complexity, productivity, education and training, responsibility, additional skills, tenure with the firm, compliance with firm policies, positive attitude, growth mindset, team mentality, and willingness and ability to work onsite. We may offer a higher compensation package to fill a position in time-sensitive situations.

Our full-time hourly employees receive 30 minutes’ paid lunch each day and are preauthorized to work up to 5 hours’ overtime each week. They are welcome to participate in performance-based incentive programs designed to reward staff for excellent client service, productivity, compliance with firm policies, and other actions which improve client outcomes.

We review compensation at the end of each calendar year, with the possibility of mid-year adjustments when needed. Our staff also can increase their take-home pay by participating in our incentive programs or by working overtime where applicable. Staff who take advantage of our overtime and incentive programs can increase their base salary by $5,000 to $10,000+ per year.

At times, our staff may reach a point where they outgrow our compensation structure. In these instances, we ask for at least one month’s notice to help facilitate a smooth transition. We value open communication and aim to ensure a fair and supportive work environment for all.
