Chicago, IL (November 13, 2024) – On Wednesday morning, November 13, officers were at the scene of an area accident after a vehicle collided with an apartment building in Auburn Gresham.
This collision occurred just before 7:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Aberdeen Street and 76th Street. News footage showed the car driving through a fence and becoming trapped in the building.
According to the Chicago Fire Department, at least one individual was transported to the hospital, though their condition was not immediately known. It is also unclear whether or not any citations will be issued. However, police are still investigating the cause of the accident. Witnesses were asked to contact the Chicago Police Department if they had more information.
