Chicago, IL (August 10, 2025) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Friday morning, August 8, on County Line Road, according to the Illinois State Police.

Troopers responded around 7:30 a.m. to the intersection of Illinois Highway 50 and West County Line Road/East 12000 North Road after reports of a three-vehicle collision. All three people involved were transported to a local hospital. One driver, who was initially listed in critical condition, later died from their injuries.
