Chicago, IL (May 19, 2024) – According to authorities, a crash happened just after 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Street and Independence Boulevard in Homan Square, Chicago police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner says a 16-year-old boy and a girl, whose age wasn’t provided, were killed. Chicago police initially said a 14-year-old girl was killed in the crash. Three other people were also hurt in the crash, police said. No further details were released about the victims or their current conditions, but an investigation is still ongoing.
