Chicago, IL (June 5, 2024) – According to troopers with the Illinois State Police (ISP), a pedestrian was struck and seriously hurt by a white Tesla in the express lanes of the outbound Dan Ryan Expressway at 31st Street on Wednesday morning, June 5.
EMTs were also dispatched, and officials added that the pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The vehicle driver reportedly stayed at the site of the incident and cooperated with the police. Authorities have not yet identified those involved, but troopers say more details on the incident will be shared with the public once they become available. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
