Motorcycle Accidents in Illinois

Nothing compares to getting behind the wheel of a motorcycle and cruising the city streets of Chicagoland and beyond. Sadly, not every motorcycle journey ends safely. Compared to other types of motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents are more likely to cause injuries or even fatalities. Although only 3% of all registered cars on our roadways across the country are motorcycles, about six times as many motorcycle accidents result in fatalities as passenger vehicle crashes. In addition, motorcycle riders were more likely to sustain injuries than passengers of cars or light trucks.
