Chicago, IL (May 10, 2024) – A driver traveling through South Loop on Wednesday night hit and injured a 44-year-old man and his 3-year-old daughter, who were riding their bicycles at the time of the crash.
According to officers with the Chicago Police Department, at around 5:50 p.m., a woman was driving onto Wabash Avenue from Roosevelt Road in a Subaru crossover when she struck the two victims. The man was admitted to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The child, a 3-year-old girl, was brought to the Lurie Children’s Hospital. However, additional details were not readily available, and police are still investigating the accident.
