Chicago, IL – Four Hospitalized in Three-Car Wreck on 26th St

Chicago, IL (April 15, 2024) – A Sunday night collision in the Bridgeport area resulted in four injuries, one of which was critical.

Chicago police say that just before 10:00 p.m., a 27-year-old woman driving a gray sedan failed to stop at a red light and collided with a Jeep in the 700 block of West 26th Street. The sedan also collided with another passenger vehicle shortly thereafter.

Four female victims of unknown age were transported to Stroger and Rush Hospitals by paramedics. One of the victims was listed in critical condition, and the injuries sustained by the others were serious but not life-threatening. The Major Accidents Unit of the CPD is investigating the collision, but no further details are available yet.
