Centralia, IL (August 14, 2024) – Illinois State Police troopers have released further details on a Sunday morning crash in the 2300 block of Walnut Hill Road southeast of Centralia that resulted in three injuries.
Preliminary information indicates that one of the drivers, an off-duty Centralia Police officer, was transported from the scene by Air Evac Medical Helicopter to a regional hospital with serious injuries. Two passengers were checked out at the scene for minor injuries.
