Centralia, IL (April 16, 2026) – Two drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Noleman Street and Lincoln Street on Tuesday, April 14. The accident happened around 8:30 p.m., prompting a response from emergency units.

Police said a 68-year-old woman was driving north on Lincoln Street when she reportedly ran a red light. Her car struck an eastbound SUV traveling on Noleman Street, causing injuries to both drivers.
Paramedics arrived and treated the two injured drivers before taking them to a nearby hospital for further care. Two passengers in the SUV, both 19 years old, were not hurt in the crash.
