The accident occurred after a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) traveling at a high rate of speed severed a utility pole and flipped several times, and landed upright in a ditch. The driver was thrown from the UTV and pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers were also traveling in the vehicle. One only received minor injuries
