Attorney Matthew Friedman Joins the ‘Getting Personal’ Podcast

He’s a lifelong Chicagoan whose passion for his law practice is even stronger than that of his favorite teams.

Attorney Matt Friedman made that clear during his time on Ankin Law’s “Getting Personal” podcast this October.

The personal injury attorney and partner discussed a number of topics, from law to sports, during his discussion with Larry Hawley and the show that premiered October 9.

A native of Northbrook, Illinois and a graduate for Indiana University and DePaul University School of Law, Friedman has been practicing law in Chicago for decades. During the entire time, he’s represented those who’ve been serious injured in the area, doing so at Ankin Law since 2018.

Since joining the firm, he’s handled several high-profile injury cases that have delivered sizable settlements. Yet it’s helping these families get justice during crisis that bring the most satisfaction.

Friedman talked about that during the podcast along with his passion for his favorite teams, the Chicago White Sox and those representing Indiana University. Matt had a chance to see the White Sox in the playoffs and the Hoosiers in the Rose Bowl in 2026.

Matt discussed all of those with Larry in this edition of “Getting Personal,” where we introduce you to those people at Ankin Law and Chicagoland making an impact on our community.
