A perfect example of this comes from a recent case where someone who was hurt at work wasn’t getting the help she needed from her employer. Her doctor had recommended surgery for an injury but the insurance company that represented those she worked for said it wasn’t necessary.
Enter Attorney Kayla Coates, who was representing this particular client.
She went to a hearing on behalf of this worker to attempt to get this decision reversed. That’s exactly what she did, getting not only the surgery approved but also getting her some back pay as she continued to heal.
