Once again in 2025, we are adding to our attorney roster in order to further help those who call us when they’ve been injured.
This time, we’re adding a new lawyer to our strong Workers’ Compensation department.
Attorney Shane McDonough is joining Ankin Law as an associate and will be working with those who reach out to us for aid after being injured on the job.
He’s a native of Bergen County, New Jersey, just outside of New York City, but his roots in the law began in the Midwest. Shane attended college at the University of Dayton where he intended to major in Pre-Med, but a wrongful convictions course forever changed his path.
Instead of medical school, Shane went to Dayton’s College of Law after completing his undergraduate studies, graduating three years later.
Having visited Chicago and known a lot of classmates from the area, he made the decision to start his law practice in the “Windy City.” After time at another firm, Shane decided to join Ankin Law in the summer of 2025.
