Ankin Law Has Been Retained to Represent the Estate of a Passenger Killed in a UTV Accident in McHenry Country.

The accident occurred after a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) traveling at a high rate of speed severed a utility pole and flipped several times, and landed upright in a ditch. The driver was thrown from the UTV and pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers were also traveling in the vehicle. One only received minor injuries and refused treatment. The second one tried to walk away from the scene and was killed after stepping on a live power line. Ankin Law represents the estate of the deceased passenger against the estate of the deceased UTV driver for violating his duty of care by disregarding traffic rules, driving too fast for conditions, and failing to maintain control of the vehicle, resulting in the vehicle veering off the roadway and crashing. The wrongful death suit seeks an unspecified judgment.
