As an attorney, it’s nice to receive an award that recognizes your work. When it comes to workers’ compensation law, being honored for your work by highly skilled peers and judges across the US is even more gratifying.

I was proud this month to be part of the 2024 class inducted into the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. Being made a Fellow based on my experience and reputation is an honor. The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers was established to recognize attorneys in the United States who distinguish themselves in their practice in the field of workers’ compensation law. Nominees must have at least 20 years of experience representing plaintiffs, defendants, judges, education, or legislation.
I’m proud to have reached this milestone in my career while knowing I have many more years ahead to advocate for injured clients in order to get them the compensation they deserve.
At Ankin Law we have several practice areas including personal injury, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and death cases handled by an extremely talented group of attorneys and legal staff. For me, workers’ compensation law is personal. It’s a practice area I pursued early in my career. Take one look at the CWCL motto and you’ll see one of the reasons I became a lawyer. – Howard
The CWCL Motto
Workers’ compensation is a very important field of the law, if not the most important. It touches more lives than any other field of law. It involves huge sums of money. The welfare of human beings, the success of business, and the pocketbooks of consumers are affected daily by it.
