Meet the First Chicagoland ‘Teacher of The Month’ in 2026-27!

For the first time in the new school year, Ankin Law teamed up with WGN-TV to honor an outstanding educator in Chicagoland.

Anne Blyth of District 45’s Ardmore Elementary School in Villa Park was awarded the “Teacher of the Month” award for September 2026.

It marks the first of nine honors that the law firm and television station will give out during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Blyth has been a teacher for 31 years, often working with children who have special needs. Parents have praised her for the way in which she works with the children and constantly is showing them support.

Director of Marketing Eric Revels was on hand to present at $1,000 check to Ardmore Elementary School on behalf of Blyth.

This continues a multi-year partnership between Ankin Law and WGN to give out the award and donation to worthy educators in Chicagoland, from the city itself to the far suburbs.
