An award in Chicagoland to salute the best educators in the area is back for 2026!
Ankin Law, a personal injury law firm in Chicago, is proud to once again join WGN-TV to present our “Teacher of the Month Award.”
The honor is given monthly throughout the 2026-2027 school year to educators who are going above and beyond to educate children and young adults. Students nominate teachers through the WGN website with the staff at Channel 9 making the selection.
Ankin Law provides the $1,000 donation to the school while also presenting the check on-site to the winner. Over the past few years, the award has gone to dozens of teachers in the Chicagoland area, from the city itself to the far suburbs.
The “Teacher of the Month Award” is one of the many community initiatives which Ankin Law takes part in since giving back has been a major mission of the firm since its founding in 1997.
