Chicago, IL (November 22, 2025) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Friday evening, November 21, in Chicago. The crash occurred around 6:14 p.m. near the intersection of South Yale Avenue and West 63rd Street in the Englewood neighborhood.

Emergency responders arrived to find the pedestrian suffering from severe injuries in the roadway. Firefighters and paramedics provided on-scene care before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
