Car Accidents in Chicago

Chicago sees thousands of car accidents every year. Intersections like North Drake Avenue and West Lawrence Avenue are especially prone to crashes due to heavy traffic and constant congestion.

Car accidents in Chicago are caused by many different factors, but distracted driving remains one of the most common. Drivers who text, check their phones, or take their eyes off the road for even a few seconds greatly increase the risk of a crash. Speeding and aggressive driving are also major contributors, reducing reaction times and making collisions far more severe.

Victims often suffer serious injuries, including whiplash, broken bones, spinal damage, and concussions. Even at moderate speeds, these injuries can lead to long recoveries, extensive medical treatment, and lasting physical limitations.

If you sustained injuries in a car accident caused by another driver’s negligence, you may be entitled to compensation. This can cover medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and the cost of long-term care.

Insurance companies frequently offer fast settlements, but those payouts rarely cover the full extent of a victim’s losses. Having a skilled Chicago car accident attorney on your side ensures that your claim is taken seriously and you receive fair compensation.
