Chicago Takes Notice Ankin Law’s Fight for An Army Veteran

Over the years, Ankin Law and has been proud to represent veterans of all branches of America’s military when they are in need of help due to an injury.

That is the case with Anthony Walker of Plainfield – and our fight for justice in this Medical Malpractice case by is making headlines in Chicagoland.

The veteran of the United States Army went into the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital and doctors missed a bacterial infection during what was supposed to be a routine blood test. Anthony nor his wife, Rosemary, were told about it.

It eventually led to sepsis, which forced him to have heart surgery which was followed by a few small strokes that have left him with permanent damage.

To get help, he enlisted Ankin Law, with Attorney Jeff Schulkin taking the lead one the case with Attorney Howard Ankin providing assistance. We have field a federal lawsuit accusing this hospital of negligence.

The Chicago Tribune provided coverage of the Walker’s struggles and Ankin Law’s efforts in an article on September 8. Ankin Law then held a news conference on September 9 featuring Anthony and Rosemary Walker, who detailed how this misdiagnosis has changed their life forever.
