Sometimes it takes time to get justice for our clients – but Ankin Law is ready to fight for as long as it takes.

The case of Susana is the perfect example of persistence and teamwork that personifies “Injury Law Made Personal.”
This client was injured in an elevator her place of employment and was in need of assistance both in a Workers’ Compensation and Premises Liability case.
There was pushback from the opposing parties in the case as Susana hoped to get care and compensation for her injuries.
Attorney Derek Lax and Legal Assistant Latoya Griffith handled the Workers’ Compensation part of the case while Attorney Raquel Gross along with Legal Assistant Lauren Casapao took care of the Premises Liability side of the work.
In the end, it took five years of fighting on the lawsuits, but we eventually were able to get results in Susana’s favor.
“Susana and I developed a friendship over these last five years,” said Raquel of the case. “We were able to get her the medical treatment that she needed and deserved.”
