Ankin Law Celebrates its 28th Anniversary

In just a little under three decades, we’ve come a long way.

What started as a one-office law firm with two employees has now grown to 100 strong on three floors of a building downtown Chicago. Helping a few clients at a time has now gone to thousands per year, giving help to those in need in our area.

That’s why Monday was special for Attorney Howard Ankin, who had the chance to reflect on the growth of Ankin Law on its 28th anniversary.

With the help of his father, Paul Ankin, Howard opened the doors of the law firm at 200 North LaSalle Street on March 31, 1997. A card table and chair were features in that first office as this young attorney built up his practice on the foundation that injury law is personal to him.

That philosophy hasn’t changed even as the firm has grown to 23 attorneys strong with a large staff to handle a variety of legal cases in a number of different practice areas.

“I just want to say thank you everybody over the last 28 years who’ve helped me reach this day,” said Howard. “I’m just as excited to come to work this week as I was 28 years ago – and I think I’ve have a lot more that I could give back to clients and a lot more that I’d like to accomplish in my legal career.”

You can listen to Howard talk more about the anniversary in the video.
