Chicago, IL (October 3, 2024) – According to local authorities, a person riding a bicycle was involved in a crash with a CTA bus on Thursday, October 3, on the city’s Southwest Side.

The collision happened around 6:20 p.m. near West 26th Street and South Kedzie Avenue in Little Village, a Chicago Fire Department spokesperson said. The bicyclist was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in fair condition, fire officials said. Their age and gender were not immediately known.
