Ankin Law Attorney Scott Goldstein

Scott Goldstein was born with advocacy in his veins. His father was a city bus driver, and eventually worked his way up through the union ranks to become President of the Milwaukee County Labor Council, AFL-CIO. His mother is a faculty member at a large University and remains active in her union today. Their drive to ensure justice in the workplace was not lost on their son; today he serves as his clients’ advocate, steadfastly fighting for every penny they deserve at the Ankin Law.

As a child, Scott marched in support of striking workers at several well-known strikes in the Milwaukee area including the Patrick Cudahy meatpackers strike in 1987, and the Greyhound drivers’ strike in 1990. His blue-collar upbringing in a union family bred his hard work ethic, respect for the value of a dollar and a passion for upholding workers’ rights.

Established as one of the most successful workers’ compensation attorneys in the Chicagoland area, Scott appears at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission on a daily basis to ensure that his clients receive the awards they deserve for their suffering.

Prior to joining the Ankin Law, Scott traveled extensively through Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe, where he developed a strong respect for world cultures and unique lifestyles. Today, many of his client’s hail from these foreign countries. Scott’s working class upbringing and exposure to alternative views have given him the empathy to understand their tragedies and the determination to fight passionately for their rights.

In his leisure time, Scott enjoys watching football and spending time with his wife Jaime and their son Jacob and daughter Lexi.
