Jodi Eisenstadt

Associate

Applying her experience in employment law, HR consulting, and training, Jodi Eisenstadt serves as the firm’s Human Resources Director and Office Manager. Jodi’s mission is to recruit, engage, and retain people who are passionate about helping people who have been injured get the best results possible. She seeks positive team players who have strong communication and organizational skills, integrity and empathy.

Born in Chicago, Jodi grew up in Wilmette and spent much of her time in Evanston. Her dad was in the newspaper distribution business and her mom was a teacher’s aide, salesperson, and neighborhood listener.  Her home was a progressive, welcoming place.

After graduating from New Trier West High School, Jodi attended Duke University earning a degree in oral history. While in college, she created an adopted grand-parents program and served as co-chair of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. Jodi returned to Chicago and began working for the Governor’s Office of Voluntary Action to support nonprofit and public programs and strengthen communities through voluntary service.

Jodi went on to obtain a law degree from Stanford Law School. She worked for several law firms and as an associate for the CTA and its 11,000 employees where she discovered her interest in employment law.

In 2000, Jodi opened her own business focused on supporting the creation and sustenance of workplaces where people and organizations thrive. Introduced to Howard Ankin by a mutual friend, Jodi eagerly accepted the opportunity to participate in making Ankin Law a positive, collaborative, inclusive, and successful firm.

Outside of work, Jodi loves to dance, hike, read, and spend time with her family, friends, and furry creatures.
