An Illinois injury attorney since 2003, Ian began his legal journey with a plaintiff-based firm focused on medical malpractice – an experience that exposed him to the gamut of case values and complexities. He then brought that experience with him to expand a leading Illinois law firm and growing into the largest law firm in Illinois during his tenure based on revenue generation, number of employees, and case results. The firm enjoyed a then unprecedented reputation for providing legal services throughout Chicagoland. With this track record Ian brought his reputation and relentless work ethic to Ankin Law and once again making it the leading Law firm for Personal Injury law services.

Ian joined Ankin Law in 2016, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience with him to ensure that the people of Chicago had access to top-notch legal representation while enjoying faster, better resolutions to their cases. Ian earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and his JD from the Loyola University of Chicago where he received the prestigious Joan Marie Corboy Scholarship. He also worked for a well-known senator and used his knowledge of government to advocate for trial by jury and law on behalf of injury victims. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and National Trial Lawyers Association.

While away from the office, Ian enjoys spending time with his family, and practicing the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
