Howard Ankin attended the USHMM luncheon on October 19, 2015. The message of the featured speaker was “What you do matters”. The Holocaust Memorial Luncheon emphasizes on keeping the Holocaust memory alive, despite the changes in our society. Jeffrey Goldberg was the featured speaker.
The US Holocaust Memorial Museum marked its 20th anniversary with the Chicago luncheons honoring Alice, Robert Abt and the family. The National Leadership Award is given in recognition for dedication and support for decades. The luncheon is a way for the Chicago community to come together and learn about the Museum and how its helping keep the Holocaust memory alive as the years pass.
