On June 8, 2016 Howard Ankin attended the Big Fish Ball hosted by the Friends of the Chicago River. The Big Fish Ball is an annual fundraiser, where 500 civic, philanthropic, business, and community leaders and river enthusiasts celebrate the Chicago River.
The Big Fish Ball is the largest fundraiser for the Chicago River. The goal is to improve the health life of the river, which benefits the people, plants and animals in Chicago. The Big Fish Ball is a wonderful event that involves having cocktails on the river and an opportunity to interact with river animals. During the dinner, Friends honors recipients of the Chicago River Blue Awards. Raffles and silent auctions are also part of this fundraiser. The fundraiser doesn’t end at dinner though. After the raffles and games, there is a cruise after sunset, which emphasizes the great architecture of the Chicago skyline.
Howard Ankin constantly participates, donates, and hosts several fundraisers throughout the Chicagoland area. You can view more events Howard Ankin and his law firm have participated in here.
