Amanda N. Cox
Amanda N. Cox is grew up in picturesque northern Vermont.
Her parents served in the military so strong values like duty, responsibility, and self-sufficiency were instilled in her at a young age. These same values serve Amanda well with her clients today. Amanda brings a unique combination of experience and compassion to Personal Injury Law. Her dedication and determination to fight for each client makes her fight like family.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of New Hampshire, she worked for the United States Homeland Security as an analyst where she gained experience building cases. Her desire to help people led her to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer and she transferred offices to Chicago where she earned a law degree from John Marshall Law School.
After passing the bar exam in 2015, Amanda quickly began working to level the playing field between big insurance companies and her clients. She enjoys working in the personal injury practice area because she is able to facilitate aid and recovery for people from all different walks of life after a very difficult time in their lives. Complicated cases can be overwhelming for many people, but to Amanda, simplifying, explaining, and advocating on behalf of her clients comes naturally. She has a big heart for people and wants to make sure that everyone is being protected and getting the compensation they deserve.
Amanda’s desire to help people has always been central part of her life. Her love of travel has introduced her to many different people from different backgrounds and taught her that seeking to understand people is a big part of how we can bring the world together.
Aside from her legal career, Amanda loves to dance and explore movement. She is a certified Reiki practitioner, loves to travel, and learn about new cultures and lifestyles. Ultimately, she hopes to create spaces to bring people, ideas, and conversation together.
