I was born in Los Angeles, CA to Mexican parents. At the age of nine, my family and I moved to Tennessee and to Kentucky thereafter. As the fourth child of six children, I am the first to graduate high school. I’m also the first and only one to graduate from college and the only one to attend graduate school. I currently attend law school at the University of Kentucky.
I am very passionate about helping the less fortunate and am a proponent of social justice. When I conclude my legal studies, I would like to become an immigration attorney. I also plan to work with nonprofit organizations that help victims of domestic violence.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews. They rock my world! I also enjoy going hiking or when possible taking a vacation to the beach.
